On March 22, the Chongqing "AI + Manufacturing" Integration and Application Promotion Conference was held at the Guangyang Island International Conference Center. During the results release segment, Yang Fan, a member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology, unveiled the "Chongqing Implementation Plan for Promoting Digital-Real Integration and Advancing 'Artificial Intelligence + Manufacturing'" along with supporting policies. These documents clarify the development pathways and support directions. Additionally, the "Chongqing AI Empowerment Manufacturing Application Scenarios Demand List" was released via AI audio-video presentation, clearly outlining the AI needs and development landscape for manufacturing enterprises in Chongqing.

The Chongqing Institute for General Artificial Intelligence provided an update on the progress of Chongqing's "Two Institutes and One Bay" AI initiative and released the "First Batch of 'Unveiling and Commanding' Projects List for the AI Bay." This initiative aims to pool superior innovation resources to tackle a number of key core technologies. The Western Branch of the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (Chongqing Information and Communication Research Institute) released significant achievements, including the "Chongqing 'AI + Manufacturing' Development Report" and the "Chongqing AI Empowerment Manufacturing Capabilities List," collectively showcasing the technical strength and solutions of service providers in Chongqing's "AI + Manufacturing" sector. China CITIC Bank's Chongqing Branch introduced a financial toolkit designed to empower AI development, featuring specialized financial products tailored for AI companies throughout their entire growth cycle.

In the certification and launch ceremony segment, witnessed by attendees, the "Chongqing Public Service Platform for Artificial Intelligence" was officially launched. This platform will leverage business modules such as data services, model services, intelligent agent services, industry applications, and public AI testing services to establish a public service hub for the AI industry. It will integrate functions including open source collaboration, R&D testing, and supply-demand matching, providing customized AI support for enterprises. The conference also featured a ceremony to present certificates to representative professional service providers in the "AI + Manufacturing" field and officially launched the "Chongqing AI Empowerment Manufacturing District and County Tour" activity. This marks the beginning of a comprehensive effort to extend AI empowerment deep into districts, counties, and industrial parks, benefiting a wide range of manufacturing enterprises.

During the keynote speech session, authoritative experts from industry, academia, research, and application sectors shared cutting-edge insights and practical experiences. An expert from the Chongqing Institute for General Artificial Intelligence discussed the core principles and prospects of AI empowering high-quality development. An expert from the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology elaborated on the macro pathways and strategic considerations for AI empowering new industrialization. An expert from Inspur Group introduced innovative paradigms of "AI + Industrial Internet" empowering new industrialization. An expert from Seres Group, drawing on corporate practice, demonstrated the transformations and results brought about by the new model of AI empowering "Industrial Brain + Future Factory."

The conference yielded substantial results. Through a series of coordinated measures—including policy guidance, demand traction, capability demonstration, financial empowerment, platform support, and on-the-ground matchmaking—it outlined a new vision for Chongqing's actions to promote "AI + Manufacturing." Relevant officials from the Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology stated that the conference will serve as an opportunity to deepen the implementation of the "AI + Manufacturing" initiative.
