On May 3, Zhu Hexin, Deputy Governor of the People's Bank of China and Administrator of the State Administration of Foreign Exchange, attended the ASEAN+3 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors Meeting in Uzbekistan. The meeting focused on discussions regarding the impact of the Middle East situation on global and regional macroeconomic conditions, enhancing the Chiang Mai Initiative Multilateralization mechanism, and the ASEAN+3 Macroeconomic Research Office. Prior to the meeting, Zhu Hexin participated in the inaugural ASEAN+3 Central Banks Dialogue, where he exchanged views with counterparts on topics including regional cross-border payment cooperation.
