Viva Biotech buys back 0.61 million shares on 18 May; May total reaches 10.82 million pending cancellation

Viva Biotech Holdings disclosed that on 18 May 2026 it repurchased 0.61 million ordinary shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange at prices ranging from HKD 1.40 to HKD 1.43, for a total consideration of HKD 0.86 million. All repurchased shares are intended for cancellation.

Including the latest transaction, the company has bought back 10.82 million shares between 8 May and 18 May 2026 at volume-weighted average prices between HKD 1.40 and HKD 1.57. These shares have not yet been cancelled and represent 0.51 % of the share capital approved for repurchase under the mandate granted on 12 June 2025 (maximum 212.84 million shares).

The repurchases did not alter the issued share count during the reporting period: outstanding shares stood at 2.13 billion both before and after the 18 May cut-off. Under Hong Kong listing rules, Viva Biotech is subject to a moratorium on issuing new shares until 17 June 2026.
