SinoMab BioScience Limited announced the appointment of its Chief Operating Officer, Fang Liang, as Executive Director effective 3 July 2026.
Liang, aged 45, joined SinoMab as COO on 19 March 2026 and oversees the Group’s R&D, business operations and strategic planning. Her promotion brings more than two decades of experience in drug discovery, development, healthcare investment and biotech management to the board.
Career background • 2023–2025: Executive Director and Chief Strategy Officer, Shanghai Argo Biopharmaceutical, leading investor relations, financing and business development. • 2020–2022: Senior Vice President, Loyal Valley Capital, spearheading investments in multiple biotechnology companies, including Nanjing Leads Biolabs, MediLink Therapeutics, and Hangzhou Sciwind Biosciences. • 2018–2020: Vice President, GP Healthcare Capital. • 2008–2017: Associate Scientist, Novartis Institutes for Biomedical Research.
Liang holds an MBA from Manchester University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Lanzhou University.
Key terms of appointment • Initial term: three years from 3 July 2026, subject to re-election and retirement provisions in the Articles. • Director’s fee: none. • Current compensation as COO: RMB 2.00 million per annum, plus performance-based bonus and potential share incentives. • Equity interest: 2.77 million share awards under the Company’s share award scheme.
SinoMab’s board stated that Liang’s expertise will support the Group’s long-term development. Following the appointment, the board comprises two executive directors, three non-executive directors and five independent non-executive directors.
