China Literature (CHINA LIT) Buys Back 8.40 Million Shares in June for HK$174.31 Million

China Literature Limited (CHINA LIT) disclosed that it repurchased a total of 8.40 million ordinary shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange between 4 and 30 June 2026, deploying HK$174.31 million under its share-buyback mandate approved on 2 June 2026. The purchases were executed across 18 trading sessions at prices ranging from HK$18.67 to HK$23.62 per share, translating to a volume-weighted average cost of HK$20.75 per share.

The repurchased shares, representing approximately 0.82% of the company’s 1.02 billion issued shares, have not yet been cancelled and therefore remain in the issued share count as of 30 June 2026. Upon cancellation, the total share count would fall from 1,021.48 million to 1,013.08 million.

Following the June transactions, China Literature has utilised 8.22% of its 102.15 million-share repurchase authorisation, leaving capacity to buy back up to a further 93.75 million shares. In accordance with Hong Kong listing rules, the company is subject to a moratorium on issuing new shares until 30 July 2026.

The company confirmed that all repurchases were conducted on-market and complied with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange’s Main Board Listing Rules, with no material changes to the explanatory statement dated 30 April 2026.
