Shijiazhuang has released its list of model application scenarios for 2026, with six selected cases showcasing the latest achievements in developing new quality productive forces. On a mall rooftop, drones take off, reducing cross-store material transfer times by 60%. Over wheat fields, satellite remote sensing and IoT devices form an invisible monitoring network, making pests and diseases undetectable.
Recently, the Shijiazhuang 2026 Application Scenario Model Cases list was announced, featuring six cases such as the "Beiguo Mall Low-Altitude Commercial Logistics Application Scenario." These cases collectively demonstrate the city's latest progress in using scenario innovation to promote new quality productive forces. The purpose of publishing these application scenario cases is an important measure by Shijiazhuang to deeply implement national strategies for accelerating scenario innovation to foster new quality productive forces, aiming to accelerate the initial application and iterative upgrading of new technologies and products in the city.
Since the start of this year, the Municipal Development and Reform Commission has accelerated the city's application scenario innovation work, issuing "demand lists" and "capability lists" for scenarios, organizing supply-demand matchmaking across different sectors, and promoting the implementation of multiple application scenario innovation projects. Reviewing the released cases, it is noted that they include a drone delivery system filling a gap in the city's low-altitude commercial logistics, as well as the first integration of international professional algorithms into a steel production line via an intelligent end-quenching agent. There is also a wheat intelligent monitoring system with pest identification accuracy exceeding 95%, and a steel-concrete hybrid structure breaking the "high cost of prefabricated construction" curse. Additionally, the Beidou smart thermal manhole cover system, promoted by the Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, and the government's "unified network flight" platform, integrating resources from multiple departments, have been selected simultaneously.
These six benchmark projects each feature breakthrough achievements, focusing on key sectors such as smart logistics, intelligent manufacturing, smart cities, and modern agriculture. They all reflect the core orientation of digital technology empowering the real economy, driving mutual strengthening between industry and technology. From specific application areas, in the low-altitude economy sector, Beiren Group, in collaboration with Hebei Qianyi Low-Altitude Economy Co., has built an aerial delivery system using "drone landing pads + intelligent scheduling platforms" at major shopping malls. This has established 11 store landing pads, secured 14 low-altitude routes in the city center, and is currently undergoing internal regular trial operations with a 100% order fulfillment rate, filling a gap in the city's low-altitude commercial logistics applications.
In the government services sector, Shijiazhuang Jiaotou Group, in cooperation with China Tonghao, has launched a "unified network flight" low-altitude intelligent service operation system for government affairs, enabling large-scale intelligent inspections across multiple fields such as natural resources, public security supervision, urban transportation, and ecological environment. In the construction sector, the Shijiazhuang Kangyang Vocational College project uses a steel-concrete hybrid structure system for public building and residential construction scenarios, providing strong technical support for the industrialization and green transformation of the construction industry. In the municipal sector, the Beidou smart thermal manhole cover system for thermal pipeline safety has been deployed, transforming traditional thermal manhole covers with digital technology to provide monitoring and early warning services.
Furthermore, in the intelligent manufacturing sector, Shijiazhuang Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. has developed an intelligent end-quenching agent, integrating an international professional hardenability algorithm into the steel production line for the first time. This achieves millisecond-level composition capture and fully unmanned operations, completely eliminating human errors and significantly improving the accuracy of end-quenching value calculations, providing a replicable model for the intelligent transformation of similar processes in the steel industry. In the smart agriculture sector, the Gaocheng District has built a sky-earth-air integrated wheat intelligent monitoring system, with early pest identification accuracy exceeding 95% and county-level yield estimation accuracy over 85%. Leveraging the Digital Rural Brain 2.0, it delivers macro-level analysis reports to the government and precise agricultural guidance to farmers, effectively empowering stable grain production and income growth.
Moving forward, the Municipal Development and Reform Commission will continue to release application scenario opportunity lists and model cases, organize supply-demand matchmaking roadshows for various application scenarios, and enable more cutting-edge innovative technologies and products to be applied and iteratively upgraded in Shijiazhuang, accelerating the development of new quality productive forces.
