The unveiling ceremony for the Talent Attraction Contact Station (Shanghai) of Touqiao Town in Yangzhou's Guangling District was recently held. The 2026 Yangzhou Health and Medical Industry Park Promotion Conference concluded successfully in Shanghai. During the event, the "Touqiao Town Talent Attraction Contact Station (Shanghai)" was officially inaugurated, marking a critical step in the transformation of Touqiao Town's medical device industry from traditional manufacturing towards high-end intelligent manufacturing.

Renowned as "The Hometown of China's Medical Device Consumables," Touqiao Town has increasingly relied on innovation as its driving force in recent years. Focusing on the goals of strengthening, supplementing, and extending the industrial chain, the town has attracted over 80% of Yangzhou City's medical device enterprises. In specific segments such as anesthesia consumables, it commands a significant 30% share of the national market.

Moving forward, Touqiao Town plans to utilize the Shanghai contact station as a strategic foothold. Efforts will concentrate on high-value, technologically advanced sectors including medical aesthetics, rehabilitation and physical therapy, high-end interventional procedures, and intelligent diagnostics. By deeply integrating resources from Shanghai, particularly in talent and technological innovation, the town aims to foster collaborative innovation and provide targeted support. These initiatives are designed to comprehensively advance the medical device industry in Guangling District towards higher-end, smarter, and more branded development.
