Jiangxi Province has issued the "Jiangxi Province 'Artificial Intelligence +' Action Plan," which includes measures to boost consumption of smart devices such as smart glasses, smart watches, and VR/AR equipment.

The plan emphasizes integrating cloud-based intelligent decision-making, scenario engines, and adaptive sensing technologies with sectors like retail, entertainment, and smart home applications. This aims to foster new business models such as smart e-commerce, smart entertainment, and smart home solutions.

Additionally, the plan highlights the need to enhance R&D and production of sensors for embodied intelligence and consumer electronics, accelerating innovation in smart wearables and virtual reality products. It also supports enterprises in developing optical communication, display, and audio-video modules.

Regions with existing capabilities are encouraged to cultivate enterprises and attract projects, particularly in data annotation services, with efforts to be included in national pilot programs. Companies are urged to develop intelligent processing tools and platforms to expand the data processing and service industries.

The plan also focuses on improving AI-assisted smart healthcare systems at the grassroots level, ensuring legal, compliant, and secure use of medical data. It encourages the development of large-scale models in traditional Chinese medicine and pathology, as well as the construction of smart and internet-based hospitals. AI applications in diagnostics, chronic disease management, and medical insurance services are to be expanded under regulatory compliance.

Furthermore, the initiative aims to create high-quality datasets for elderly care, incorporating AI-driven aging-friendly designs. It promotes the adoption of brain-computer interfaces and caregiving robots in senior care scenarios.
