nVent Electric plc's stock surged 5.52% during pre-market trading on Friday, following the release of its first-quarter fiscal 2026 financial results.
The company reported a significant 63% increase in adjusted earnings per share to $1.09, while net sales climbed 53% to $1.24 billion. Organic orders grew approximately 40%, driving the backlog to a record $2.6 billion, which the company attributed to broad-based data center demand led by liquid cooling solutions.
Based on this strong performance, nVent raised its full-year adjusted EPS outlook to a range of $4.45 to $4.55 and expects reported sales growth of 26% to 28%.
