InnoScience announced that Nvidia will support the 800 VDC power architecture. The 800 VDC rack power architecture represents a breakthrough for AI data centers, enabling higher efficiency, greater power density, while reducing energy consumption and CO2 emissions. Similar to the automotive industry's shift from 400V to 800V, increasing the rack voltage from 48V to 800V can reduce current by 16 times, significantly decreasing I²R losses and minimizing the need for copper. InnoScience is working with Nvidia to jointly support the 800 VDC power architecture, ensuring expansion for the new generation of GPU roadmaps.
