Heightened Trading Activity in Hong Kong: HEALTHYWAY INC Surges Over 20% in Intraday Trading as AI Investment Strategy Shows Clear Commercial Viability

HEALTHYWAY INC (02587) experienced a significant surge in early trading today, climbing more than 20% to hit a high of 2.56 Hong Kong dollars. As of the time of reporting, the stock was up 8.45%, trading at 2.31 Hong Kong dollars, with a turnover of 150 million Hong Kong dollars.

On the news front, late last month, HEALTHYWAY INC issued a supplementary announcement detailing a strategic reallocation of approximately 107 million Hong Kong dollars in unused IPO proceeds. Funds originally slated for expanding physical pharmacies, large-scale hiring of on-site health assistants, and business representatives have been redirected toward AI agent technology development and regional ecosystem deployment.

Notably, this increased focus on AI is not a speculative concept play. The company's related businesses have already achieved consecutive implementation, with a clear and verifiable commercialization path. In 2025, the AI agent generated over 32 million yuan in revenue in its first year of launch.

In March of this year, the company won digitalization projects for Sichuan Provincial Orthopedic Hospital and Anji County People's Hospital. In June, it secured a mobile computing power integration project in Rizhao. On July 20, HEALTHYWAY INC signed an AI smart community co-building agreement with Xi'an Health and Medical Group, planning to cover the first 30 primary healthcare institutions in Xi'an.

This marks a transition for the company's AI solutions from isolated pilot projects to standardized, batch delivery.
