China Art Financial (01572) announced that on December 23, 2025, the company entered into a settlement agreement with a creditor. According to the terms of the agreement, the company is obligated to pay a settlement sum of HK$8 million to the creditor as stipulated in the repayment clauses. Upon receiving the full settlement amount, the creditor is required to release and discharge the company from all liabilities under the statutory demand. Consequently, provided the company fully settles the payment in accordance with the agreement, it is considered that there are no longer any grounds for filing a winding-up petition based on the statutory demand to seek a court order for the company's liquidation.
