BAMA TEA (06980) has unveiled its financial results for the six months ended June 30, 2026, demonstrating robust growth across key metrics.
According to the interim report, the company generated revenue of RMB 1.4015 billion, marking a substantial 31.8% increase year-over-year. Profit attributable to equity shareholders of the company surged 65.3% to RMB 198 million, with basic earnings per share reaching RMB 2.33.
Tea products continue to serve as the primary revenue driver for BAMA TEA, with income from this segment climbing 34.5% compared to the same period in 2025. This notable uptick was particularly fueled by strong sales performance in tea gift sets, oolong tea, and black tea categories. Meanwhile, the company's non-tea product revenue remained relatively stable during the reporting period.
The gross profit margin for the first half of 2026 stood at 54.6%, reflecting a slight decline of 0.7 percentage points year-over-year. This marginal dip was primarily attributed to a rise in transportation and warehousing costs, which outpaced revenue growth and consequently exerted downward pressure on overall profitability.
