On October 16, the 2025 Sustainable Global Leaders Conference was grandly held at the Expo Park in Huangpu District, Shanghai. Over 500 distinguished guests from both domestic and international backgrounds attended, including representatives from international organizations, Nobel and Turing Prize winners, and leaders from Fortune Global 500 companies. Guolian Group's President and Chairman of Guolian Minsheng Securities, Gu Wei, was invited to attend the opening ceremony, while Guolian Minsheng Securities' President, Ge Xiaobo, delivered a keynote speech.

The three-day conference focused on the core theme 「Joining Forces to Tackle Challenges: Global Action, Innovation, and Sustainable Growth,」 covering nearly 50 in-depth discussion topics, including energy and the "dual carbon" goals, green finance, sustainable consumption, and technology for public welfare, gathering global wisdom to explore new pathways for sustainable development and infusing dynamic 「Chinese power」 into global governance.

During the session on 「Building a New Ecology of Sustainable Development in Securities Through Financial ‘Five Major Articles’,」 Ge Xiaobo emphasized the theme of 「Wealth Management and Diversified Trading—Thoughts on High-Quality Development of Securities Firms.」 He elaborated on the development history of international investment banks and the gaps between Chinese securities firms and top-tier global investment banks. He systematically proposed that wealth management and diversified trading are essential routes for the high-quality development of securities firms; he stated that the development of wealth management reflects financial inclusivity, and diversified products and multi-strategy trading are necessary tools for this development. He also noted that financial well-being is fundamental, with tools serving as a foundational support. In conclusion, Ge Xiaobo expressed Guolian Minsheng Securities’ commitment to responding to the national call for developing 「first-class investment banks,」 vowing that the company will strive to advance towards this goal through compliant operations and innovative development.

Led by the "dual carbon" goals, Guolian Minsheng Securities has elevated green finance to a core strategic level, continuously promoting synergetic transformation with the real economy and embedding green principles into its business model. On the investment side, by the end of 2024, the company’s private equity subsidiary will have invested in renewable energy enterprises, with over one-third of total investments dedicated to this sector. On the investment banking front, the firm has effectively utilized innovative tools such as green bonds and green ABS, successfully issuing four low-carbon transition-linked corporate bonds, including 「25 Yangtai 01」 this year, continuing to release the multiplier effect of green finance in driving carbon reduction and supporting the transformation of the real economy. On the research side, the firm has actively published annual research reports on the renewable energy sector and "dual carbon" themes, and hosted large ESG forums, guiding the flow of capital in primary and secondary markets and building a high-quality exchange platform for investment and research.

As a state-controlled modern financial services enterprise, Guolian Minsheng Securities consistently integrates sustainable development concepts into its company strategy, solidifying foundational efforts in the financial 「five major articles」 that empower social value creation, showcasing the social responsibility of state-owned enterprises and contributing to the construction of a financially robust nation.
