One Media Group released its Environmental, Social and Governance Report for FY 2025/26 (1 April 2025 – 31 March 2026), detailing notable progress on emissions reduction, resource efficiency and governance enhancements amid escalating climate-related challenges in Hong Kong.

Environmental Performance • Greenhouse gases: Total emissions fell to 159.67 tCO₂e, down 9 % year on year, while GHG intensity improved 10.9 % to 1.72 tCO₂e per employee (FY 2024/25: 1.93). The group remains on track to achieve its target of a 10 % absolute reduction by 2027. • Scope breakdown: Scope 1 emissions declined to 9.12 tCO₂e (-5 %), and Scope 2 emissions to 150.55 tCO₂e (-9 %). • Waste management: Non-hazardous waste fell 18 % to 41.12 t, cutting waste intensity to 442 kg per employee (FY 2024/25: 554 kg). All collected paper waste was recycled; no hazardous waste was generated. • Resource use: Electricity consumption was trimmed 0.1 % to 250,910 kWh, equivalent to 2,698 kWh per employee. Water use rose 8 % to 173 m³. Packaging remains outsourced and is therefore not tracked.

Climate-Risk Governance The board oversees climate strategy, supported by an Executive Committee that integrates climate risk into overall risk management. Aligning with IFRS S2 and TCFD guidelines, the group will disclose under four pillars—Governance, Strategy, Risk Management, and Metrics & Targets—starting next cycle. Identified physical risks include extreme rainfall, flooding, and heat events, while transition risks encompass emerging carbon-related regulations. Mitigation plans cover infrastructure reinforcement, diversified supply chains, business-continuity protocols and energy-reduction initiatives.

Social Metrics • Workforce: 93 employees (54 % male, 46 % female); 95.7 % on permanent contracts. • Turnover rate: 27 % (male 12 %, female 17 %). • Training: 103 staff-training hours delivered; senior management averaged 19 hours each. • Health & safety: Zero work-related fatalities; 9.5 lost-work days due to injury. • Labour compliance: No breaches of employment, discrimination, child- or forced-labour regulations.

Supply Chain & Product Responsibility The group engaged 408 suppliers, all Hong Kong-based, with annual due-diligence reviews prioritising environmental practices. Editorial controls remain stringent; no significant product or service complaints, recalls, or data-privacy incidents were reported.

Governance & Ethics A zero-tolerance Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy and an active Whistleblower Policy underpin the governance framework. No legal actions or violations related to bribery, fraud or money-laundering occurred during the period.

Outlook Management will continue to refine climate-related targets, expand Scope 3 emissions tracking, sustain electricity and water conservation efforts, and deepen community engagement in education and humanitarian initiatives, aligning operations with four UN Sustainable Development Goals (3, 8, 9, 16).
