China Daye Non-Ferrous Metals Mining Limited announced the appointment of Liu Yibin, 53, as an executive director with effect from 24 August 2026. The move aligns with the group’s Board Diversity Policy and expands the board to six members, comprising three executive and three independent non-executive directors.
Liu holds a degree in National Economic Management from the Central Institute of Finance and Banking (1995) and brings more than 21 years of industry-specific experience. His career spans financial management roles at Beijing Municipal Engineering Machinery Co., Ltd., successive senior finance positions at Shenzhen-listed China Nonferrous Metal Industry’s Foreign Engineering and Construction Co., Ltd. (stock code: 000758), and leadership posts within China Nonferrous Metal Mining (Group) Co., Ltd., the controlling shareholder of China Daye. Since April 2026 he has served as Standing Committee member and chief accountant at Daye Nonferrous Metals Group Holdings Co., Ltd., also a controlling shareholder of the company.
No service contract or fixed term has been signed. Liu is subject to retirement by rotation and re-election under the company’s bye-laws and, at present, is not entitled to any director’s emoluments.
As of the announcement date, Liu has no other roles within the group, no directorships in other listed companies over the past three years, no relationships with directors or major shareholders, and no interests in the company’s securities under Hong Kong’s Securities and Futures Ordinance.
The board welcomed Liu’s appointment, which follows the resignation of no directors and maintains the company’s balanced board composition: Executive Directors—Xiao Shuxin (Chairman), Li Haibo, and Liu Yibin; Independent Non-Executive Directors—Liu Fang, Wang Qihong, and Kong Hua.
