MetaOptics Ltd (9MT) announced on Feb, 10 2026 that it has become an Associate Member of Stanford Engineering’s SystemX Alliance, an industry–academic programme that brings together companies and university researchers for collaborative innovation.

The membership gives the Singapore-based semiconductor optics firm access to Stanford faculty and students for research projects aligned with its metalens technology, and opens discussions on joint development and technical validation with industry partners.

MetaOptics said participation in the alliance is expected to speed up optical system validation and quick-turn metalens prototyping for U.S. customers by leveraging Stanford’s research infrastructure and Silicon Valley’s talent pool.
