Khoon Group to be Delisted from HKEX on 13 October 2026 Following Sanctions Fallout

Bulletin Express
10/08

Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited announced that trading in the shares of Khoon Group Limited will be permanently halted, with the company’s listing set for cancellation at 9:00 a.m. on 13 October 2026 under Rule 6.01(4) of the Listing Rules. Trading in Khoon Group shares has already been suspended since 24 July 2026.

The HKEX Listing Committee reached its delisting decision on 25 September 2026 after determining that sanctions imposed on Khoon Group had materially impaired the company’s business operations, financial position and ability to meet ongoing financial reporting obligations. The committee concluded that these deficiencies undermined the company’s suitability to remain listed, breaching the general principles of Rule 2.03, and that Khoon Group lacked a reasonable prospect of rectifying the issues within an acceptable timeframe.

Shareholders have been advised by the Exchange to seek professional advice regarding the implications of the delisting. The Exchange has also instructed Khoon Group to issue a separate announcement addressing the cancellation.

The delisting takes effect on 13 October 2026.
