On January 9, relevant sources revealed that after stepping down as Chairman of the Board of China Resources Beer (Holdings) Co., Ltd., Hou Xiaohai has officially joined Charoen Pokphand Group. He will serve as the COO for the China Region, responsible for the daily operational management of the Group's business in China.

It was founded in Bangkok in 1921 by Thai-Chinese brothers Xie Yichu and Xie Shaofei and is one of the world's largest Chinese multinational corporations.
