Viva Biotech Holdings (incorporated in the Cayman Islands) reported another on-market share buy-back on 15 May 2026, acquiring 955,500 ordinary shares at HK$1.44–1.45 apiece for a total consideration of HK$1.38 million.

Including five earlier purchases on 8, 11, 12, 13 and 14 May, the company has now bought back 10.20 million shares during the current mandate period. The cumulative buy-backs represent about 0.48 % of the 2.13 billion shares outstanding when the mandate was approved on 12 June 2025. Based on the individual volume-weighted prices disclosed for each tranche, total cash deployed in the six May transactions is estimated at approximately HK$15.63 million, with per-share repurchase prices ranging from HK$1.44 to HK$1.57.

All 10.20 million shares repurchased remain in the process of cancellation; consequently, issued share capital stood unchanged at 2.13 billion shares as of 15 May 2026. Under the existing authorisation to repurchase up to 212.84 million shares, the company still has roughly 202.64 million shares, or about 95 %, available for future buy-backs.

The board confirmed that the transactions complied with the Hong Kong Listing Rules and that funding was fully settled. Following the latest purchase, Viva Biotech is subject to a 30-day moratorium—ending 14 June 2026—on issuing new shares or transferring any treasury shares.
