CIMC Buys Back 44,400 H Shares at HK$9.30, Treasury Holdings Reach 66.35 Million

On 27 May 2026, China International Marine Containers (Group) Co., Ltd. (CIMC) repurchased 44,400 H shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange at prices ranging between HK$9.27 and HK$9.33 per share, with a volume-weighted average cost of HK$9.30. The total consideration amounted to HK$0.41 million.

Following the transaction, CIMC’s issued share capital (excluding treasury shares) fell by 0.0015 % to 3,023.49 million shares, while treasury shares increased to 66.35 million. The company’s total number of shares in issue, including treasury stock, remains unchanged at 3,089.84 million.

The latest buyback forms part of the repurchase mandate approved on 15 May 2025, which authorises CIMC to repurchase up to 308.98 million shares. To date, the company has repurchased 66.35 million shares under this mandate, utilising 21.48 % of the authorised limit—equivalent to 2.15 % of the shares outstanding at the mandate’s approval date.

Under Hong Kong Listing Rule 10.06(3)(a), CIMC is restricted from issuing new shares or transferring treasury shares for 30 days following the repurchase, setting a moratorium period that extends to 26 June 2026.
