Zhongyu Energy Holdings Limited executed an on-market buyback of 1.00 million ordinary shares on 27 April 2026, paying a volume-weighted average price of HKD 2.74 per share (price range: HKD 2.73–2.75). The transaction cost totalled HKD 2.74 million and the repurchased shares will be held in treasury.
Following the repurchase, the company’s issued shares (excluding treasury shares) decreased to 2.73 billion, a reduction of 0.04% from the 24 April opening balance of 2.74 billion. Treasury share holdings increased from 12.50 million to 13.50 million, keeping the total issued share count unchanged at 2.75 billion.
The buyback was made under the general mandate approved on 2 June 2025, which authorises the repurchase of up to 277.18 million shares. Cumulative repurchases under this mandate now stand at 13.50 million shares, representing 0.49% of the shares outstanding on the mandate’s approval date.
In accordance with Hong Kong Stock Exchange regulations, Zhongyu Energy is subject to a moratorium on issuing, selling or transferring any shares held in treasury until 26 May 2026.
The board confirmed that the repurchase complied with all applicable listing rules, regulations and the company’s previously filed explanatory statement.
