On August 17, CHINA EAST EDU (00667.HK) officially signed a business cooperation agreement with Uzbekistan's Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, formally kickstarting its vocational education internationalization strategy and taking a significant step forward in cross-border educational collaboration.

The signing ceremony was attended by key leaders from both sides, including Uzbekistan's Vocational Education Agency Director A.Husanov, Deputy Director Shikhnazar Sharofatdinov, CHINA EAST EDU Group Vice President Tao Qing, Group Chairman's Assistant Hua Jun, and Group Uzbekistan Project Leader Xie Weiwei, who jointly witnessed this important milestone.

This agreement marks the official launch of the only education-focused key project authorized by the President of Uzbekistan, while also representing CHINA EAST EDU's practical efforts to export high-quality vocational education resources globally. In recent years, the company has deepened its expertise in fields such as new energy vehicles and intelligent connected vehicle technology, establishing mature curriculum systems, practical training standards, and an industry-education integration model.

Currently, Uzbekistan's ongoing economic reforms and industrial upgrades have created an urgent demand for highly skilled talent. The professional focus areas of CHINA EAST EDU align closely with Uzbekistan's industrial transformation needs, providing a solid foundation and strong complementarity for cooperation between the two parties.

This signing marks a critical step for the "vocational education going global" strategy in Central Asia, further promoting the internationalization of China's vocational education standards and training models, while injecting new momentum into deepening Sino-Uzbek vocational education cooperation.

Under the agreement, both sides will engage in comprehensive collaboration across cooperative education programs, specialty and curriculum development, practical training base construction, faculty development and exchanges, and mutual recognition of standards and certifications. They will jointly develop specialized courses tailored to Uzbekistan's industrial needs, establish modern training facilities, conduct regular teacher exchange and training programs, explore new models for vocational education cooperation suited to the Central Asian region, and promote mutual recognition and connectivity between the two countries' vocational education standards.

This agreement not only injects fresh energy into Sino-Uzbek educational and cultural exchanges but also represents an important milestone in CHINA EAST EDU's internationalization strategy, transitioning from blueprint to concrete implementation. Both parties will work together to create a model of vocational education cooperation in Central Asia, continuously exporting China's vocational education solutions and contributing to regional talent cultivation and economic and social development.
