On June 24, Direxion Daily Semiconductor Bear 3X Shares (SOXS) rose 8.04% in regular trading, trading at $4.3503/share, with turnover of $2.579 billion. The inverse-leveraged ETF continued to benefit from sustained weakness across the semiconductor sector.

The semiconductor industry has been under significant selling pressure in recent sessions. Major semiconductor names saw sharp declines, with Micron Technology falling over 8%, AMD and ASML each dropping more than 7%, Intel declining over 7%, and TSMC losing more than 5%. The Nasdaq 100 index futures fell as much as 3%, reflecting broad tech weakness. As a product providing 3X daily inverse exposure to the 30 largest U.S.-listed semiconductor companies, SOXS mechanically gains when the underlying index declines, with triple leverage amplifying returns.

The fund invests at least 80% of net assets in financial instruments that provide 3X daily inverse exposure to the ICE Semiconductor Index, a rules-based, modified float-adjusted market capitalization-weighted index tracking the thirty largest U.S.-listed semiconductor companies. The fund is non-diversified.
