Trip.com Group Limited (TCOM) stock surged 5.13% over the past 24 hours, as the finalization of a long-running antitrust investigation removed a key uncertainty for investors.

The State Administration for Market Regulation fined the company 5.179 billion yuan for abusing its market dominance, but the conclusion of the probe was seen as positive. Analysts from CITIC Securities noted that regulatory pressure is expected to gradually ease, and the company is poised to benefit from inbound tourism and travel AI. China Merchants Securities added that the company's long-term competitiveness remains outstanding, supporting further valuation recovery.

Trip.com stated that it sincerely accepts the decision and will take corrective measures, establishing a robust long-term governance mechanism to promote sustainable development in the travel industry.
