Employees from Ganneng Fengcheng Power Plant secured outstanding results in the recently concluded Yichun City "Tiangang Cup" Smart Manufacturing Industry Skills Competition held on July 24th.

Two young front-line workers, Yang Kaiwei and Xu Sirui, represented Fengcheng City in the automation electrician category. They competed against 22 skilled technicians from various industries across Yichun, ultimately winning first and second place in the event. Yang Kaiwei received the first prize, while Xu Sirui won the second prize.

The competition strictly adhered to advanced technician skill standards, employing a dual-assessment model of "electrical circuit design and comprehensive practical operation." It covered modules such as reading and drawing electrical schematics, wiring and debugging low-voltage control circuits, operating variable frequency control systems, and adhering to equipment safety protocols. This provided a comprehensive test of the participants' knowledge and practical abilities.

During the intense competition, the two young employees remained calm and performed steadily. They provided precise theoretical answers and demonstrated rigorous, standardized practical procedures. They successfully completed a series of challenging tasks, including circuit installation, program debugging, and fault detection and resolution. Their solid technical foundation, skilled practical abilities, and professional conduct earned them the top two spots, showcasing the plant's employee spirit of striving for excellence and continuous improvement.
