Neway Group Holdings (00055) announced that the group expects to record a loss of approximately HK$19 million to HK$34 million for the six months ended June 30, 2025 (first half of 2025), compared to a loss of approximately HK$40.1 million for the six months ended June 30, 2024 (first half of 2024). The board of directors believes that the loss recorded in the first half of 2025 is primarily attributable to a fair value loss on investment properties of approximately HK$4 million in the first half of 2025 (first half of 2024: fair value loss of approximately HK$12.7 million), as well as segmental losses from the property development business, property investment business, and manufacturing and sales business in the first half of 2025.
