BYD Electronic (International) Company Limited announced the creation of a Strategy and Sustainability Committee under its Board of Directors on 27 March 2026. The new body comprises four members: non-executive director Wang Chuan-fu (chairman of the committee), executive directors Wang Nian-qiang and Jiang Xiang-rong, and independent non-executive director Wang Ying.

According to the filing, the committee will oversee strategy formulation and sustainability matters. Its terms of reference will be published on the websites of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited and BYD Electronic.

Following the announcement, the Board now consists of two executive directors (Wang Nian-qiang and Jiang Xiang-rong), two non-executive directors (Wang Chuan-fu and Wang Bo), and three independent non-executive directors (Chung Kwok Mo John, Qian Jing-jie, and Wang Ying).
