A group photo from a Halo employee gathering has been widely circulated on social media platforms, showing several employees deliberately stepping on and arranging fallen bikes from competitors Didi Qingju and Meituan, while posing with thumbs-up gestures.

After the photo surfaced online, it quickly drew widespread attention and sparked controversy among netizens. Many users criticized the behavior as narrow-minded and unprofessional, labeling it as a low-level and unethical form of competition.

In response to the incident, Halo stated to the media, "A photo from a recent employee gathering circulating on social platforms depicts behavior that does not align with the values Halo consistently promotes and does not represent the overall conduct of our employees. We have initiated an internal investigation into this matter. Halo always respects industry partners and advocates for a healthy and rational industry environment."

Regarding the next steps of the "internal investigation" and specific corrective measures, Halo's official customer service further commented, "This behavior is indeed highly inappropriate. It represents the misguided actions of a few individual employees and completely contradicts the company's requirements and values. We absolutely do not tolerate such conduct." They added, "The company has promptly launched an internal investigation into this issue, dealt strictly with the involved personnel in accordance with regulations, and has rolled out company-wide education on professional ethics and norms to prevent similar incidents from recurring."
