HENGRUI PHARMA (01276) has announced that its subsidiary, Guangdong Hengrui Pharmaceuticals Co., Ltd., has received the Drug Clinical Trial Approval Notice issued by the National Medical Products Administration for the SHR-7012 injection, paving the way for clinical trials to commence in the near future.

The SHR-7012 injection, an innovative drug independently developed by the company, is intended for the treatment of cutaneous lupus erythematosus. According to available research, no drugs targeting the same pathway have been approved for marketing domestically or internationally to date.

As of now, the cumulative research and development investment in the SHR-7012 injection project amounts to approximately RMB 25.5 million (unaudited).
