Agricultural Bank of China Limited (ABC) has finalized the placement of its “2026 Tier 2 Capital Notes (Series 3) (Bond Connect)” in the National Interbank Bond Market, following approvals from relevant regulators. The book-building process was conducted on 22 September 2026, and settlement occurred on 24 September 2026.

The issuance totals RMB50.00 billion in 10-year fixed-rate notes carrying an annual coupon of 1.81%. ABC holds a conditional redemption option exercisable on the last day of the fifth anniversary year, offering flexibility to refinance if market conditions become favorable.

Proceeds will be deployed to strengthen ABC’s Tier 2 capital in line with applicable regulations and the purposes sanctioned by supervisory authorities.
