Lithium Americas shares gained another 6.9% in overnight trading after soaring 140% in two days. The shares jumped 22.6% on Thursday and soared 95.8% on Wednesday. Reuters reported that the Trump administration is seeking up to a 10% stake in the miner.

US President Donald Trump on Thursday announced a new round of punishing tariffs, saying the United States will impose a 100% tariffs on imported branded drugs, 25% tariff on imports of all heavy-duty trucks and 50% tariffs on kitchen cabinets. Trump also said he would start charging a 30% tariff on upholstered furniture next week. US truck manufacturer Paccar gained 5.9% in overnight trading.

Intel shares gained another 1.6% in overnight trading after jumping 18% in Three Days. Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan has been working aggressively to line up funding and customer partnerships critical to the company's turnaround. It was reported that he has reached out to TSMC and Apple as well.

Meta staffers have had discussions with Alphabet's Google Cloud about the possibility of using its Gemini models to improve the Facebook parent's ad business, the Information reported on Thursday. Alphabet shares rose more than 0.8% in overnight trading.

Costco topped earnings and revenue expectations in its latest quarter, but investors seemed more focused on lower-than-expected growth in same-store sales. The shares fell 0.8% in overnight trading.

Opendoor shares pulled back 3% in overnight trading jumping 28% in Two Days. Jane Street, the quantitative trading firm, disclosed a stake of 5.9% in the online homebuying platform.
