Zhongyu Energy Holdings Limited disclosed that on 19 May 2026 it bought back 2.00 million ordinary shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

The repurchase was executed within a price range of HKD 2.81–2.87 per share, resulting in an aggregate outlay of HKD 5.67 million. The shares were retained as treasury stock; none were cancelled.

After the transaction, issued shares outstanding (excluding treasury stock) fell from 2.72 billion to 2.72 billion, representing a marginal reduction of 0.07%. Treasury shares increased from 23.50 million to 25.50 million, while total issued shares remained unchanged at 2.75 billion.

The buy-back forms part of the mandate approved on 2 June 2025, which authorises repurchases of up to 277.18 million shares. To date, 25.50 million shares—equivalent to 0.92% of the outstanding share count at mandate approval—have been repurchased under this authority.

In line with Hong Kong listing rules, Zhongyu Energy is subject to a moratorium on issuing new shares or selling treasury shares until 18 June 2026.
