China Pacific Insurance (Group) Co., Ltd. (CPIC) disclosed on 8 June 2026 that the National Financial Regulatory Administration (NFRA) has granted approval for Ms. Zhou Liyun to serve as a Director of the Company. The regulatory consent, issued under document Jin Fu [2026] No. 317, makes Ms. Zhou’s directorship effective from 4 June 2026.

Ms. Zhou was elected as an employee Director at CPIC’s Employees’ Representatives Conference held in November 2025. Her tenure will run through the conclusion of the insurer’s 10th Board of Directors. The necessary amendments to the company’s Articles of Association were previously sanctioned at CPIC’s first extraordinary general meeting of 2025 and have already taken effect following regulatory clearance.

Following this appointment, CPIC’s board comprises: • Executive Directors: Fu Fan (Chairman) and Zhao Yonggang • Non-executive Directors: Huang Dinan, Lu Qiaoling, Wang Tayu, Wang Yuhua, Chen Ran, Zhou Donghui and John Robert Dacey • Independent Non-executive Directors: Chen Xin; Lam Tyng Yih, Elizabeth; Lo Yuen Man, Elaine; Chin Hung I David; and Wong Hin Wing • Employee Director: Zhou Liyun

No additional financial metrics or strategic changes were announced in conjunction with the director’s qualification approval.
