CHERY AUTO elects Yin Tongyue as Chairman & President; confirms new Supervisory leadership and board committee line-up

CHERY AUTOMOBILE CO., LTD. (CHERY AUTO) has completed a comprehensive reshuffle of its top governance bodies following approval at the 20 May 2026 annual general meeting.

Yin Tongyue, already endorsed as an executive director of the sixth board, was elected Chairman of the Board and President at the first meeting of the new term held immediately after the AGM. His mandate runs concurrently with the sixth board’s tenure.

On the supervisory side, Wu Yunfei—recently confirmed as a non-employee representative supervisor—was appointed Chairman of the sixth Supervisory Committee for the same three-year term. In addition, employees elected Cai Changfeng, currently Deputy Director of the Finance Centre, as the committee’s employee representative supervisor.

The sixth Board formalised membership of its three specialised committees:

1) Risk Control and Audit Committee: chaired by Lai Ni Hium, Frank, with six additional members—Wang Jinhua, Bao Siyu, Hu Jingyuan, Shang Wenjiang, Yang Mianzhi and Shi Qin.

2) Nomination and Remuneration Committee: chaired by Shang Wenjiang, joined by Zhang Guozhong, Li Jing, Wang Xiaowei, Yang Mianzhi, Ye Shengji and Lu Feng.

3) Strategy and Sustainable Development Committee: chaired by Yin Tongyue, with members Zhang Guozhong, Wang Laichun, Wang Jinhua, Yin Xiangling, Ye Shengji and Lai Ni Hium, Frank.

All appointments take immediate effect and extend through the current board and supervisory committee cycle.
