NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang Announces Four New Business Initiatives During South Korea Visit

On June 5th, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang, who is currently visiting South Korea, announced that he has brought four new business initiatives from the company as a "surprise" for the country.

Huang made these remarks to the media after arriving at a dinner venue in Seoul's Hongdae area, where he was scheduled to dine with SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won, LG Group Chairman Koo Kwang-mo, and Naver Chairman Lee Hae-jin. He described the new ventures as "very large-scale businesses" and stated that "South Korea is going to be very busy."

Huang detailed the "four major businesses," which include NVIDIA's next-generation AI superchip platform "Vera Rubin," the "Vera" central processing unit (CPU), NVIDIA's first AI laptop series "RTX Spark," and the "Jetson Thor" edge AI computing platform designed for next-generation humanoid robots and physical AI.

Huang also mentioned that NVIDIA has already begun work on establishing a new AI technology center project in South Korea and is currently in the process of hiring Korean AI research engineers and robotics engineering personnel.
