XINXIN MINING Surges Over 8% After Half-Year Profit Jumps 2.5-Fold on Higher Metal Prices

Shares of XINXIN MINING (03833) climbed more than 8% in Hong Kong trading, last up 8.27% at HK$2.16 with turnover reaching HK$9.13 million. The sharp rally follows the company's release of its 2026 interim results, which showed robust earnings growth driven by favorable pricing across its key product lines.

The mining firm reported revenue of approximately RMB 1.266 billion for the period, representing a 13.22% increase year-on-year. Net profit surged 261.06% to RMB 245 million, while profit attributable to shareholders of the parent company rose 248.13% to RMB 249 million. Basic earnings per share came in at RMB 0.113.

According to the company's announcement, the substantial profit increase was primarily attributed to higher average selling prices across its product portfolio. The average selling price of electrolytic nickel (excluding tax) reached approximately RMB 123,862 per tonne, up 11.9% year-on-year. Meanwhile, the average price of cathode copper (excluding tax) jumped 31.2%, and copper concentrate prices (excluding tax) surged 49.0% compared to the same period last year. Other product prices also recorded gains during the period.
