Dave & Buster's Entertainment (PLAY) stock experienced an after-hours plunge of 6.82% on Monday, following the release of its first-quarter fiscal 2026 financial results.
The sharp decline came after the company reported adjusted earnings per share of $0.22, significantly missing the analyst consensus estimate of $0.61. Revenue for the quarter was $559.2 million, down 1.5% year-over-year and below the expected $580.5 million. Comparable store sales decreased by 5.4% compared to the same period last year.
