G-Vision International (Holdings) has published its Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Report for the year ended 31 March 2026, detailing measurable progress in emissions control, resource efficiency and workforce management across its Hong Kong Chiu Chow restaurant operations and headquarters.

The group’s total greenhouse-gas emissions fell 22% year on year to 504.57 tCO₂e, driven mainly by the closure of the Kwun Tong City Chiu Chow Restaurant in October 2025 and ongoing energy-saving initiatives. Scope 1 emissions from town-gas combustion dropped to 213.58 tCO₂e, while Scope 2 emissions from purchased electricity and town gas declined to 275.53 tCO₂e. Scope 3 emissions, covering fresh-water and wastewater processing plus paper disposal, were contained at 15.46 tCO₂e. Overall emission intensity remained stable at 0.013 tCO₂e per HK$1,000 of revenue.

Total energy use contracted 20.6% to 1.58 million kWh, reflecting reduced town-gas consumption of 83,659 units and electricity consumption of 461,716 kWh. Energy intensity edged down to 40 kWh per HK$1,000 of revenue. Water usage declined to 24,074 m³, equal to 0.60 m³ per HK$1,000 of revenue, while paper consumption almost halved to 250.15 kg.

Non-hazardous waste management advanced through continued collection of 1.77 tonnes of used cooking oil for biodiesel conversion and a switch to digital promotion materials. Packaging usage for takeaway services fell to 543 kg; seasonal product packing materials eased to 497 kg.

The board reaffirmed its full oversight of ESG strategy, supported by an executive-led ESG management team. Priority goals include further carbon-footprint reduction, expanded energy-efficiency projects and tighter supply-chain controls. Climate-related physical and transition risks—such as extreme weather impacts on food sourcing and operational continuity—are continuously assessed within the enterprise risk framework.

On workforce matters, the group employed 55 staff at period-end, with a 7% annual turnover. No work-related fatalities or injuries were recorded, and no breaches of employment, health-and-safety, environmental or anti-corruption regulations were identified during the year. All employees completed role-specific safety and hygiene training, and the company maintained its zero-tolerance stance on bribery and fraud, supported by a whistle-blowing mechanism referencing Independent Commission Against Corruption guidelines.

G-Vision International reiterated commitments to sustainable sourcing, local procurement where feasible, and ongoing engagement with stakeholders to refine environmental targets—particularly the ambition of keeping water-consumption intensity below 0.60 m³ per HK$1,000 revenue and progressively upgrading to higher-efficiency kitchen and lighting equipment.
