Central New Energy (1735) Announces Strategic Cooperation with Jilin Huajin

Central New Energy Holding Group Limited (1735) published a voluntary announcement regarding a strategic cooperation agreement between its wholly-owned subsidiary, Central New Energy Innovation Research Institute Co., Ltd. (Central New Energy Innovation), and Jilin Province Huajin Energy Co., Ltd. (Jilin Huajin). Dated 16 October 2025, the agreement sets a framework for both parties to collaborate on green methanol and related new energy initiatives.

According to the announcement, Central New Energy Innovation will invest in chemical methanol projects within Jilin Huajin's green methanol development and provide green electricity photovoltaic modules, energy storage systems, and related technical support. Jilin Huajin will offer site facilities, feasibility studies, and design plans necessary for project implementation, prioritize Central New Energy Innovation as an investor and supplier, and coordinate part of its new energy power generation and storage resources. Both parties will jointly pursue opportunities in photovoltaics, wind power, energy storage, hydrogen-ammonia-methanol, and sustainable aviation fuel within Jilin Province and surrounding areas.

The agreement is valid for three years and is of non-binding nature, aside from confidentiality obligations. Specific cooperation terms will be defined in separate definitive contracts to be negotiated in the future. Central New Energy’s announcement also highlights the company’s five main business segments: new energy and engineering, procurement and construction; green building and construction; smart energy management services; health and wellness; and food and beverage supply chain. The cooperation framework outlined is expected to broaden the group’s opportunities in new energy development.
