On the morning of December 29, the Zhongshan Scenic Area Administration and the Eastern Airport Group Co., Ltd. held a signing ceremony for their cooperative partnership and the inauguration of the scenic area-airport direct bus service. The "Zhongshan Scenic Area-Nanjing Lukou International Airport Tourist Express Direct Bus" will commence trial operations starting January 1, 2026.

This route effectively addresses the "last mile" challenge for tourists traveling from the airport to the Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum scenic area. Departing from Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 of Nanjing Lukou International Airport, the service travels to the South Square of the Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum within the Zhongshan Scenic Area, with an intermediate stop at Nanjing South Railway Station, utilizing 37-seat coaches. The direct journey from the South Square of the Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum to the airport takes only 80 minutes (approximately 40 minutes to Nanjing South Railway Station), with a full fare of 35 yuan (25 yuan for a one-way trip to Nanjing South Railway Station).
