On the evening of February 25th, Pang Donglai's official account released a public notice regarding the court verdict in the trademark infringement and unfair competition case concerning the "Golden Ten-Thousand-Tael Mooncake." The notice stated that since 2024, a product named "Golden Ten-Thousand-Tael Mooncake," produced, marketed, and sold by Zhengzhou Mai X Feng Food Co., Ltd., had appeared on the market. This product was heavily promoted and sold by multi-platform livestreamers, represented by a snack shop in Zengcheng, Guangzhou, which extensively used logos and text related to Pang Donglai, leading to consumer confusion and misidentification.

Upon discovering the infringement, Pang Donglai promptly gathered evidence, secured relevant proof, and filed a lawsuit to protect its rights in accordance with the law.

The court ultimately ruled that Zhengzhou Mai X Feng Food Co., Ltd. must immediately cease the infringing use of the registered trademark and unfair competition practices. The company was ordered to pay Xuchang Pang Donglai Commerce & Trade Group Co., Ltd. and Xuchang Pang Donglai Industrial Company 3 million yuan in economic losses, plus 50,000 yuan for reasonable legal expenses. The snack shop in Zengcheng, Guangzhou, was ordered to pay 2,000 yuan in compensation to the two aforementioned companies.
