INSILICO Shares Surge Over 7% Again Following Keynote at AI Conference and Major Partnership Announcements

Shares of INSILICO (03696) surged more than 7% during the trading session. At the time of writing, the stock was up 5.85% to HK$48.1, with a turnover of HK$477 million.

The price movement follows the company's significant presence at the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference and High-Level Meeting on Global AI Governance (WAIC 2026) held recently in Shanghai. On the first day of the conference, Dr. Alex Zhavoronkov, founder and CEO of INSILICO, was invited to deliver a keynote speech at the main forum. The presentation highlighted the company's latest breakthroughs and frontier advancements in AI-driven drug discovery and longevity research.

A series of major strategic collaborations were also announced by INSILICO during the event. The company has entered into a deep strategic partnership with Tencent Health. This collaboration aims to integrate the entire process from underlying computing power and large model infrastructure to biomolecular inference, with the goal of accelerating innovative drug development and enhancing digital efficiency within the pharmaceutical industry.

Furthermore, INSILICO signed a tripartite strategic cooperation agreement with Yuanma Zhiyao and Dune Quantum. The three parties will work together to build an innovative "Quantum + AI" ecosystem to accelerate the R&D and clinical processes for novel molecular entities. Additionally, INSILICO participated as a strategic investor in Yuanma Zhiyao's tens-of-millions-of-yuan Pre-A round of financing.
