Meanwhile, the AI-powered comic-drama sector has gained significant traction this year. According to CITIC Securities, data from Ocean Engine shows that from April to July 2025, the supply, views, and likes of comic-dramas grew at monthly compound rates of 83%, 92%, and 105%, respectively. Nearly 3,000 new works were released in the past six months, marking a 603% increase. The market size for comic-dramas is projected to exceed RMB 20 billion this year.

Following CHINA LIT's announcement of its full-scale expansion into the comic-drama ecosystem in late October, major platforms like iQiyi, Douyin, Kuaishou, and Bilibili have rolled out new support initiatives, drawing further market attention to the sector's high growth prospects and investment opportunities.
