At the 2025 Analyst Conference, dubbed the "Oscars of the Capital Market," industry experts, scholars, fund managers, and leading analysts gathered to explore enduring investment strategies.

Dan Bin, founder and chairman of Oriental Harbor, delivered a keynote speech. He revealed that Oriental Harbor made a strategic shift in its investments this year. While Nvidia had been its top holding for the past two years, the firm reassessed Alphabet's potential amid the AI boom. Initially, many believed AI would negatively impact Alphabet's valuation, but research indicated AI actually bolstered its business. Consequently, Oriental Harbor elevated Alphabet to its second-largest holding.

Notably, prominent investors—including Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway, George Soros, Duan Yongping, and Jinglin Asset Management—have recently increased their stakes in Alphabet. Dan Bin emphasized the significance of Berkshire's move, likening it to "a monk striking a massive bell," a resounding announcement to the world. He expressed hope that Berkshire would steadily expand its Alphabet investment, mirroring its approach with Apple—potentially growing from 1% to 50% of its portfolio.

Dan Bin anticipates Berkshire's next quarterly report in mid-to-late January 2026. If Alphabet's weighting surges, it would signal broad recognition of the AI era's arrival.
