The CGN POWER (01816) group has announced its operational results for the first six months of the year.

For the period from January to June 2026, the total power generation from the nuclear power units managed by the group was approximately 117.766 billion kilowatt-hours, representing a decrease of 2.12% compared to the same period last year.

The total commercial power supplied to the grid was about 109.597 billion kilowatt-hours, which marks a year-on-year decline of 3.32%.

In terms of new capacity, the Huizhou Unit 1 commenced commercial operation on April 19, 2026, followed by the Cangnan Unit 1, which began commercial operation on April 29, 2026.

During the second quarter of 2026, the group completed three planned annual refueling overhauls and two decadal overhauls as scheduled.

By June 30, 2026, the group had successfully completed a total of seven annual refueling overhauls, which included one cross-year annual refueling overhaul, along with four decadal overhauls.

Looking ahead to the third quarter of 2026, the group plans to commence three new annual refueling overhauls and two new decadal overhauls.

As of the end of June 2026, the group is managing a total of 18 nuclear power units under construction, all of which belong to its subsidiaries.

Among these units under construction, three are currently in the commissioning phase, two are in the equipment installation stage, seven are undergoing civil construction, and six are in the preparation phase for the First Concrete Date.
