Alibaba founder Jack Ma was recently spotted at the company's Hangzhou headquarters, visiting the Q&A Spring Festival project team. Photos from the scene show Ma in the Q&A office area, which was already decorated with New Year displays featuring zodiac elements for the Year of the Horse. A sign in the office identified the area as belonging to the "Q&A C-End Business Group."

Recently, Alibaba's Q&A announced it will invest 3 billion yuan to launch a "Spring Festival Treats Plan." The campaign is set to begin on February 6, promoting continuous free dining and entertainment offers alongside large cash red envelopes. However, the company has not yet disclosed specific details about the activity format.

Other Alibaba ecosystem businesses, including Taobao Flash Sales, Fliggy, Damai, Hema, Tmall Supermarket, and Alipay, will also participate in Q&A's Spring Festival promotion. At the same time, competitors such as Tencent's Yuanbao and ByteDance's Doubao have rolled out their own Spring Festival red envelope campaigns.

Ma's unexpected appearance at the Q&A office underscores the strategic importance Alibaba places on this initiative. According to an insider from the Q&A app, most AI assistants on the market remain limited to conversational functions, but Q&A aims to integrate into users' real-life consumption scenarios during this year's Spring Festival holiday.
