According to the latest data from the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, a significant share transfer for CUTIA-B (02487) occurred on June 4th. The total value of shares transferred amounted to HK$91.56 million, representing 7.07% of the relevant holdings.

The transfer involved a shareholder moving 25.71 million shares into Citibank and transferring 25.72 million shares out of Morgan Stanley Hong Kong Securities.

In a separate announcement, CUTIA-B stated that its product CU-30101, a topical lidocaine-tetracaine cream, has received marketing authorization from China's National Medical Products Administration.

CU-30101 is a topical anesthetic cream designed for use in dermal anesthesia procedures. The formulation, which combines lidocaine and tetracaine, is designed to produce a rapid and long-lasting anesthetic effect due to the unique pharmacokinetic properties of its components.

Lidocaine diffuses more quickly and widely than tetracaine, while tetracaine is a long-acting amino ester local anesthetic that is more lipophilic than lidocaine, allowing it to concentrate in the stratum corneum of the epidermis.

Furthermore, the topical cream formulation helps limit the systemic absorption of the anesthetic agents, contributing to a favorable safety profile.
