Black Sesame International Holding Limited (2533) announced that on November 18, 2025, its indirect wholly-owned subsidiary, Black Sesame Technologies Co., Ltd., entered into a strategic cooperation agreement with Jiangsu Zhichi Zhiyuan Holding Co., Ltd. (Zhichi Zhiyuan). The cooperation aims to integrate optical communication technology with automotive and intelligent driving applications, advanced packaging technologies, and supply chain capital opportunities.

Under the agreement, the parties will jointly promote optical communication modules for vehicles and smart terminals, further develop next-generation in-vehicle computing platforms, and explore intelligent driving domain controller products adaptable to both passenger and commercial vehicles at L2 levels and above. They will also develop AI industrial robot solutions, leveraging Black Sesame International’s automotive-grade chips and Zhichi Zhiyuan’s production capabilities.

In addition, the collaboration plans to explore capital cooperation in automotive and smart terminal segments, including the upstream and downstream industrial chains, with a view to enhancing application levels in the industry. According to Black Sesame International, this initiative is intended to accelerate commercialization of core technologies, expand the market share in the assisted driving segment, and jointly develop next-generation automotive optical communication solutions.

Black Sesame International states that working alongside Zhichi Zhiyuan will facilitate the launch of high-performance product solutions, extending their reach in industrial ecosystems for intelligent vehicles and embodied smart terminals. The company confirms that the strategic cooperation agreement serves the overall interests of Black Sesame International Holding Limited and its shareholders.
