Dedicated Air Cargo Link Between Xiongan and Beijing Capital Airport Enters Regular Operation

The dedicated air cargo channel connecting Xiongan and Beijing Capital International Airport has officially commenced regular, large-scale operations. This milestone was marked on July 7th when a batch of 20 tons of export goods departed from the Xiongan Comprehensive Bonded Zone. Utilizing this dedicated channel, the shipment was transported directly to the international cargo terminal operated by Beijing Capital Airport Ground Service Co., Ltd. (BGS) for export.

This stable, large-volume shipment signifies the formal transition of the Xiongan-Beijing Capital Airport air corridor into a phase of normalized and scaled operation. It represents a significant enhancement of the Xiongan New Area's international logistics service network, which connects to national-level aviation hubs and integrates with global markets.

Prior to this development, the Xiongan New Area had already established two-way cross-border air logistics services with Beijing Daxing International Airport, ensuring unimpeded import and export channels in that direction. With the Xiongan-Beijing Capital Airport link now operating regularly, the area has established a new cross-border air logistics framework. This framework features dual-airport synergy between Beijing Daxing and Beijing Capital airports, with their respective channels offering complementary functions. This advancement substantially increases the region's overall air cargo handling capacity.

Since the beginning of this year, coordinated efforts from multiple parties have been instrumental. Under the overall coordination of the Xiongan Free Trade Zone Management Committee, the precise and efficient supervision of Xiongan Customs, and the comprehensive implementation support from Xiongan Comprehensive Bonded Zone Construction and Development Co., Ltd., the Xiongan New Area's multimodal logistics system—integrating air, land, and sea transport—has been fully established. The cross-regional, cross-border trade "big customs clearance" model continues to mature.

This convenient and efficient business environment is attracting various foreign trade enterprises and cross-border e-commerce projects to establish themselves in the Xiongan New Area. Moving forward, the Xiongan Comprehensive Bonded Zone will continue to deepen collaborative linkages with customs, airports, and other relevant parties. It aims to optimize customs clearance procedures, refine the air logistics chain, and steadily enhance the region's core capabilities in international freight consolidation and distribution.

Concurrently, efforts will accelerate to build a fully functional and highly efficient regional international open hub. Leveraging its geographical and policy advantages, the zone will serve the national strategy for the coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, helping more high-quality products from Hebei efficiently reach global markets.
